Irish Celtic indie punk band, The Pogues – known for the 1984 hit, “Streams of Whiskey” – are creating their own brand of whiskey with the release of The Pogues Irish Whiskey. The Pogues Irish Whiskey is a 50% single malt Irish whiskey produced by West Cork Distillers in Ireland and is bottled at 40% alcohol content.
The Pogues Irish Whiskey will initially release in the UK but also has an intended global market release that will include Australia, Europe, Japan and North America at a price of $47 per bottle.
